Tannia - My first thought when I saw the fabric was it would make a great bag as it is furnishing fabric and I thought that it may hold up to a little bit of wear and tear... Then when I got it home and laid it out flat I could see its potential as crazyquilting pieces heavily embroidered... The piece is open to all sorts of uses - I just have to narrow them down!!!
Val - Warrandyte is lovely - P & I sometimes go there on a Saturday morning before the crowds - just for a wander and early lunch... There is a couple of Op-shops that bear a browse too... The same day as I bought the fabric I found books too - so unlike me!!! One title in particular caught my eye - "Ex Libris : Confessions of a Common Reader - Anne Fadiman" Now with a title like that who could resist!!!!

and I very much look forward to seeing what it ends up as...
I especially love the first two. I must get out to Warrandyte one of these days, it's so quaint, or used to be.
