Well, I have at last put thread through needle and made some progress on the last stitchery of Gail Pan's 2009 free BOM Christmas block - even if it took a trip to the local hospital to accomplish it... Before you are concerned for me -it wasn't me - but rather P - my other half -who woke in the early part of the morning experiencing chest pains... As we raced out the door I grabbed my book and my stitching pack which had had pride of place in the middle of the coffee table for weeks now... Nine hours later we returned home - P with the relative all clear and me with some stitching accomplished... Now if only I can keep the momentum going - even if is just to finish it...
Through  the week I borrowed this book - Stitched Postcards - from the library - not sure if I will ever make another stitched postcard but it was an interesting little book to browse... E bought me a pack of craft magazines  - nice little heart wall hanging - perhaps another for the 'to do' list...

Another flower from my garden...

Until later, take care...

OHH!! I got a shock as I started to read this post, but I'm relieved that it was apparently nothing 'serious' and your MOTH is okay. I was thinking about ringing you yesterday, knowing you hate football as much as I do, and was going to suggest that I come over and we stitch together. But the weather was so lousy, I ended up staying put and doing a whole heap of sewing myself. Glad to see you are on the last leg of that BOM, even if it was done under stress! Look forward to seeing it. Are you planning to go to your Tapestry Guild shows this month? I think there are two, according to Val. There is a quilt show this coming weekend at the Eltham Community Centre too, if you are interested.
{{Hugs to both of you}}

Hi G - yep we would have probably been at the hospital...P has had a big shock and he went very quiet for quite a while. While they the tests they gave him gave the all clear they were proactive with suggesting some medication should it happen again... We arrived home just at the beginning of the grand final after 9 hours in emergency...Not sure about the shows - my interest level is flat lining at the moment - so busy at work as well that sleep in my new hobby...

I do understand. Just keep it in mind that if you want some stitching company, or you decide to go to a quilt or other show, I'm here.
