I had a $50 gift voucher for the local wool shop. I needed to spend it quickly as it had gone over its expiry date.This is what I chose. Just perfect for a very brisk winter's day in Melbourne. The hat isn't me - but the scarf is definitely a contender for Winter 2014... Because of my voucher the whole project - pattern, wool, and needles cost be $4.50. A very cheap scarf!!!!! Love the colour! I'm not a hat person either, although I've tried on a few of those warm looking ones in the opshop, but all they do is squash my hair down and make me look like a nerd. Keep forgetting to ask - were you happy with those linens? I was wondering where you had in mind for the crocheted butterflies mat...
