a new magazine...

Today I received this in the mail - I was feeling a little 'under a cloud' health wise and so it was nice to have something unexpectedly brighten up my day... I had seen this magazine in one of my 'blog hopping' expeditions and thought it may inspire me.

This magazine was the brain child of Pat Winters from Pat Winter Gathering. Pat Winter is well known in crazy quilting circles...

Crazy Quilt Gatherings is a little like a crazy patch - the more I look through it the more I see.. Its pages reveal little bit of everything, lots of eyecandy, hints to help and profiles of other crazy quilters complete with blog addresses to tempt you to stray even further... No wonder I get nothing done...

I thought I might treat myself to an early night and have a good read...

Until later...

By the time I next see you, we will have a year's worth of show and tell! Pam Kellogg did a write-up about that magazine on her blog, and I briefly thought about trying to obtain a copy, but thought the better of it (I have enough books on CQ). But I look forward to seeing yours ;-)
I finally got a copy of the first issue of Vignette from a quilt shop in Qld. I believe the second issue is out now, so I'll be keeping an eye out for it. If you see it, would you mind grabbing an extra copy for me and letting me know? Thanks Shaz - if you do, I'll drop in at work and pay you.

Thank you for the kind and encouraging words on the magazine. I hope you enjoyed it and take a peek at the second issue preview coming in June.
Smiles,
