After much frustration of stitching then 'unstitching' I have re thought my original idea about my Peacock SAL. I have decided to continue with the same dark peacock green thread but stitching some of the non peacock motifs in the variegated thread of the border. I believe by doing this - it will balance the piece... And so on we go...

Oh yes, very nice. Looked okay before to me, but it does look even better with these threads.
Scrub that last comment - I just checked Emma's blog and she had printed my comment and replied to it -she would love to see my peacocks! So, as soon as you want to organise something...and I am free on Wednesdays now.
